Lots of laughter could be heard throughout our school on Tuesday as the famous author, storyteller and comedian James Campbell visited our school. He spent his time visiting three classrooms and seeing all the children from Junior Infants to 2nd class. He is an amazing story teller and had the boys and girls enthralled by his stories. One of our favourites was 'The Umbrella Tree' which he told to the children and they played their part in it too with great voices and actions. He has written lots of books, maybe you've read some of them already. We have lots of them in our class libraries. If you want to find out more about him, here's a link to his website.
